Philip Cardaci - CFC Group, Executive Chairman

Previous to joining the family business in 1990, Philip worked for a leading IT and communications company as a Systems Engineer. He then joined the used equipment division as Managing Director, trading used equipment which eventually lead him to start the equipment distribution company, JCB Construction Equipment Australia. Since 2007, Philip has also been heavily involved in the industrial property market as Managing Director for Birchmead, a national property group, with holdings in almost every state of Australia.

In his current role of Group Executive Chairman, Philip applies his strong business acumen to each company in the CFC Group and guides the strategic direction for the CFC Group as a whole.

Marc Cardaci - CFC Group, Chief Executive Officer

Before joining the group Marc was a research analyst for a Perth investment house. In 1991 Marc joined Centurion and in 1994 was appointed Managing Director.

Marc was appointed as Group CEO in 2008 and has over twenty years’ experience in business development, strategic planning and organisational development.

Chris J. Mallios - CFC Group, Chief Financial Officer


Chris is responsible for developing and implementing the corporate and financial strategy for CFC Group and for creating the infrastructure necessary to drive the company’s performance, vision and compliance initiatives. Chris has extensive financial and global commercial experience spanning 19 years gained in the services, technology, engineering, contracting and manufacturing industry sectors.

Most recently, Chris was Group Chief Financial Officer of GBST Holdings Limited, a leading global provider of securities transaction and fund administration software for the financial services industry.

Prior to this Chris was Chief Financial Officer – Asia Pacific for Tyco Electronics responsible for finance, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, operational performance improvement and corporate services with major operations throughout Japan, South Korea, China and ASEAN. Chris has also held other senior executive level financial roles during his 13 years with Tyco International. Prior to joining Tyco International, Chris worked for Nalco and Exxon Energy Chemicals.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Commerce from the University of New South Wales, is a Fellow of CPA Australia and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Executive General Managers

Mark Doig - Centurion, Executive General Manager

Mark has extensive experience in the supply chain arena. Having completed contracts in Melbourne for Sigma Pharmaceuticals and Instore PLC, Mark returned to his home in WA in 2001 to join Centurion. Prior to this, Mark spent eight years with FAL.

Initially Mark's career began in the UK working for Marks & Spencer, Tesco and Ford in a 3PL environment. This was followed by stints in Africa and Asia working for blue chip organisations, concentrating on 'best of breed' supply chain solutions. From Hong Kong, Mark was assigned a role in Perth.

As Executive General Manager, Mark’s role spans all areas of the Centurion business. His focus is to actively seek and grow opportunities whilst continuing to strengthen the company's commercial performance.

Anthony Whelan - JCB Construction Equipment Australia, Executive General Manager

Anthony has over 25 years experience in a broad range of industries including agriculture, waste and recycling as well as equipment, sales and services for mining, quarrying and construction applications.

Anthony has been with the CFC Group for over seven years, previously holding the role of Chief Financial Officer. Anthony has since taken up the position of Executive General Manager for JCB Construction Equipment Australia. In this role Anthony is responsible for leading the JCB Construction Equipment Australia team as it continues to expand its customer base for parts, service and wholegoods, whilst providing an exceptional customer experience.

Anthony is also responsible for the continual development of the JCB Construction Equipment Australia team; liaison with JCB UK; building strategic relationships with major clients; and the financial performance of the business.

Tim Abrahams - Underground Services, Executive General Manager

Tim has extensive experience in the quarrying, civil engineering, processing and mining disciplines. His areas of experience include senior level management of mining business units and engineering, mining business development, project management (civil and mining), refinery processing in the alumina industry and hard rock quarrying.

He has extensive operational and client networks in the civil engineering and mining contracting arenas.

As the Executive General Manager of Underground Services, Tim applies his depth of experience and expertise to the business's overall performance, as well as developing and building the business to achieve its goals.
Tim is a degree qualified engineer holding membership as a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia.

Mike Heddon - Cape Crushing and Earthmoving Contractors, Managing Director

Mike is the Managing Director and founder of Cape Crushing with 23 years experience in the mining industry throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Mike has extensive experience across safety, training, crushing and earthworks fields.

Mike has instilled a strong safety culture at Cape Crushing of putting safety first and proving that production and client satisfaction follow. As the Managing Director, Mike combines his strong people skills with his commitment to safety and client satisfaction to continue to grow the Cape Crushing business.
