2011 WA Engineering Excellence Awards – EcoPlough Receives High Commendation
Underground Services’ EcoPlough received a high commendation award at the 2011 WA Engineering Excellence Awards, in the Innovation and Development category, held on Saturday 17th September.
The award recognizes innovation in the engineering profession and the EcoPlough’s development over the past three years is a testament to this.
Well done to the team on this fantastic achievement.

Underground Services Awarded Gold WorkSafe Certification
Underground Services was awarded a prestigious Gold WorkSafe Award by the Honorable Donna Faragher on the 5th August 2011, one of only five to have been awarded. The WorkSafe award is a testament to Underground Services’ commitment to safety and is a reflection of everyone’s hard work and vigilance.
The award was presented in a morning tea function with a number of clients present, including cornerstone client Western Power.
Underground Services team awarded “Crew of the Month” at BHP Billiton’s RGP5 Project in Yandi
On the 4th October, 2010 Underground Services’ Yandi team were named Crew of the Month by R2G for their involvement in the Yandi Pit and Pipe Project.
This is a huge honour for the team up at Yandi (located approximately 1000km north-east of Perth) and we’d like to congratulate the whole team for helping ensure a safe working environment.
We are very pleased to have been awarded this title and wish to thank both Rio Tinto and the entire Centurion team for all their hard work.
